I was a part time technology teacher for three years (2014-2017) at Heritage Regional High School. This was a great opportunity to design my own curriculum and run my own classroom. I taught 3D game development, web development, and digital citizenship.
Most online tutorials on 3D game development are way too advanced for high school students. So I started my own series of short, goal oriented videos like '3D Games and Trigonometry'.
My most popular workshops have been how to build 3D games. They're designed to inspire people who have zero programming experience.
In 2014 I helped teach McGill's "Foundations of programming" course. I tutored, offered a workshop introducing 3D game development, and wrote software to automatically grade assignments.
